This is the second year of the Build Fund. Last year, $5,000 was awarded to 20 developers – from couples app Kahnoodle in New York to a pterodactyl game from LovblGames in Romania. This year, the theme is “Creation.” Wong has long been an advocate of this type of creation. He encouraged entrepreneurs to disrupt markets or “change shit up” rather than just filling existing holes at an interview with Tech Cocktail in 2012.
